I wanted to get more toned and to explore different kinds of workout as I only used to do HIIT. I decided to engage a Personal Trainer because I wanted to do more strength training as I have absolutely no knowledge on how to lift any weights! Throughout our sessions, my trainer Ming Tao and I became really good friends. If you are considering getting a personal trainer, I hope you guys will just go for it. Lucas is very knowledgeable... and I mean very! About two years into my fitness journey with him, be it in terms of diet, injuries, exercise or equipment, he is always able to provide me with the accurate information. And for that, my (now perkier) ass is very thankful!
I always felt taking on PT sessions we quite daunting! However, since joining FITLUC, I definitely see a big difference and improvement in strength and I think this is a big accomplishment for me in just half a years time. My trainer Ming Tao always tries to spice up each session so I find myself learning new things. He always pushes me to beat my personal record which is a way to strengthen myself and improve each time I come for my lesson which is really nice!
I've been with FITLUC for a few months now and it's probably the best decision of 2020! I used to hate gyms but each PT session now is changed up with variety while still aligned to my fitness goals. Important for someone who gets bored easily like me! I also found a friend in my personal trainer, who makes me think twice about posting my yummy sins on IG -- he is always watching! But I'm heartened to know he's watching out for me. Having a PT is nothing like going to the gym on your own. The best thing you can do for yourself is to give personal training a shot!
Lucas has been training me for more than a year. He is a very caring trainer. Before I started training, I was in such a bad state, and very dependent on my walking stick. I could not even climb one flight of stairs, not to mention one step. But now, I can climb to the third floor of the gym with no assistance and even able to carry light weights and do jumping jacks!
I have started my fitness journey with Lucas since 2017 and have not turned back since. Being a dedicated and responsible trainer, he constantly push me to accomplish activities that i thought i would never be able to do. Really appreciative of my Personal Trainer for his dedication and encouragement. It took me quite a while to consider stepping out of my comfort zone as I was always afraid that it will worsen my existing conditions as I am 60+, but I was wrong. I realised that my core muscles have improved a lot and that has really helped me in my overall balance and getting up from a sofa.

I haven’t been exercising for quite a while, but Brandon is patient and tailors the program to suit my pace and body condition. He patiently guides me along the way and constantly reminds me on the proper form to prevent injuries and to do the moves slowly to activate the muscles.
Brandon has also been helping me with an old injury. Every session, the weights get heavier, which gives me a sense of achievement! Any questions that I throw at Brandon is always answered in detail and with a smile. Thanks Brandon!
Before joining FITLUC, I had no previous fitness experience. Ming Tao taught me a lot about fitness from scratch, teaching me how to do the exercise in proper forms and how to stretch. Not only does he advised me on my diet, but also checks up on me regularly.

Eun Sang has always been patient with me and always guide me whenever I'm in doubt and will not hesitate to repeat her instructions shes always encouraging me to try more things and to persevere she also helps me with stretchings which would help me relieve my muscle aches, she would always greet me with a smile every session without fail.
I signed up for PT with FITLUC since September 2020. Due to a lack of motivation, I usually do not complete any of my fitness classes. But my personal trainer, Ming Tao, has helped me to stay on track to achieve my fitness goals and motivated me to attend my training despite my hectic work schedule.
Apart from making sure that I am doing the correct forms, he is very knowledgeable in that he would explain to me the science of how certain approaches will impact the body and muscle groups. The training with Ming Tao really made me want to press on and work harder to achieve my fitness goals.
The best thing I did for myself in 2020 was to take the first step out of my comfort zone and embarked on my fitness journey, with FitLuc. I’m always excited heading to gym at FITLUC as my trainer, Lucas, pays extra attention when it comes to my fitness goals. He would plan a routine that is suitable for me and my lifestyle. I also like the fact that he switches up the routine for every session, targeting different parts of the body. I feel so much stronger and I can’t wait to lift heavier!
My initial intention to train with Brandon Choo was because the indoor gyms were closed during Heightened Alert. Additionally, he tailored a program that fits me perfectly and catered towards my goal of strength training!
Choo is very passionate about what he does and I feel he genuinely wants to help his clients to achieve their goals. His knowledge of fitness is overwhelming, making me confident to train under him. He also managed to spot my bad habits and slowly corrected them.
Now, I can see my strength improvements from the realistic targets set to achieve. I became more consistent in my Double Unders and even achieved my PB for Barbell Back Squats!
During the past year that I’ve been training with FITLUC, it has made me significantly stronger. As a chef 🧑🍳, I have been able to get about doing my work such as carrying of heavy trays much more easily. It has made me more confident about myself and I really enjoyed the whole process. Yes, we have shower facilities on 2 floors.
Hairdryer and q-tips are provided but do bring your own towel and toiletries, as only basic shower foam is available.
We welcome individuals from all ages, hence there isn’t a minimum age to take up personal training.
For those below 16 years old, you are required to get consent from a parent or guardian.
As we are also experienced in training older clients, we have developed a robust training programme customisable to suit older clients’ training needs (i.e. mobility training and muscle strengthening) Do check out our IG here to see our elderly clients in action. Your trial session will be like an actual workout session.
During the first 15 mins, our trainer will get to know you better by getting more information such as your goals, exercise history, fitness level, past injuries, diet, etc before customising a programme and taking you through the workout session. As you are working out, our trainers will access your foundations and fitness level accordingly. After which if you like FitLuc’s method and our trainer’s training style and the programme he/she has planned for you, you can then decide if you would like to take up a Personal Training package with us. No obligations 🙂
We charge $50 for a trial session, valid for first-timers only. Aside from trying out the different equipment in the gym, you will get the full experience of how our usual training sessions are like with our trainers.

Yes, we do offer buddy packages for you and your friend to train together in a session.
However, this is only recommended if both of you have similar fitness goals and fitness levels. Most importantly, both of you must have the same schedule as you would not want to pull you buddy down.
Alternatively, both of you can train with 2 trainers separately, but at the same time for motivational support. In this way, training sessions can be more effective in reaching each of your personal goals as specific programmes will be customised accordingly.
You are required to bring a water bottle, your own towel, and enthusiasm for a great workout. Do dress in comfortable workout attire.
You will only be permitted to use the gym’s facilities on the same day right before or after your scheduled personal training session scheduled with your PT to clock in some extra cardio workout. From our client’s experience, usually our 1 hr PT sessions is more than enough as our trainers will make training effective and efficient.
It is not compulsory. However, our trainers will advice you on your diet and you can send photos of your meals to them so that they can recommend healthier alternatives or suitable portion sizes to attain your goals.
