Can we train at a nearby gym?

Due to our gym policies, insurance coverage and quality control standards, we do not conduct sessions in other commercial or competitor gyms.

Our House Call Personal Training sessions can be conducted at your home, condo gym, or you may choose to train at one of our FITLUC gyms instead for Gym PT.

This ensures we maintain a safe and controlled training environment for all clients.

No worries if you don’t have equipment available.

Our FITLUC trainers can provide light equipment like resistance bands, and we can design highly effective bodyweight-based and resistance bands  programmes. Even with minimal equipment, we are able to structure a safe, progressive and results-driven training plan tailored to your goals.

You don’t need a large space to get started. Most sessions can be conducted within a small living room area, just one with enough space to move comfortably and safely.

Before your first session, we’ll advise you on clearing a simple workout area to ensure the session runs smoothly. Our trainers are also experienced in adapting exercises based on the space available.

Yes, absolutely. With the right structure, progression and coaching, results are still very achievable! Your Personal Trainer will customise a programme specific to your fitness level and goals to ensure each session is safe and effective.

We believe consistency, proper programming and accountability are what truly drive results.

There are no additional travel fees. These are already included within the trial and package prices. There are also no membership fees and no GST charges currently.

Our trial sessions are not free, but they’re designed to give you the full Personal Training experience before you commit.

For 1-to-1 House Call PT, the trial costs $90.

For 1-to-2 Buddy Personal Training, the trial costs $130.

Both options are exclusively for first-timers and last 1.5 hours.

During the session, you’ll experience how our trainers customise your workout, guide your technique, and structure your programme just like a regular session.

Our trial session is designed to feel like an actual workout, so do come in comfortable workout attire.

The session lasts about 1.5 hours. Your trainer will first spend time understanding your goals, exercise history, past injuries, diet and lifestyle habits.

From there, they’ll customise a programme for you and take you through a workout session tailored to your fitness level. This workout is where your trainer will assess your movement foundations and overall fitness to ensure everything is safe and suitable.

After the session, if you enjoy FITLUC’s approach and your trainer’s style (along with the programme planned for you), you can decide whether you’d like to continue with a Personal Training package. There are no obligations. The trial is simply a great way to experience our coaching first-hand.

Our trainers are trained to adapt quickly to the environment. If certain equipment is occupied, we’ll modify the workout using alternative exercises while still maintaining the structure and effectiveness of your programme.

With us, rest assured your session will still run smoothly and effectively, even in a shared space!

A 1-to-1 Personal Training package cannot be shared.

However, if you’d like to train together, we do offer buddy packages where you and your friend can work out in the same session.

This works best if both of you have similar fitness goals, fitness levels and schedules, so your trainer can effectively customise the programme for both parties.

Alternatively, both of you can train at the same time with two separate trainers for added motivational support — while still receiving personalised programming tailored to your individual goals.

Your fitness journey begins with a comprehensive assessment.

We’ll design a personalised training programme based on your unique goals, whether it’s fat loss, weight loss, muscle gain, athletic performance, post-rehab training or general fitness. Each session is curated to be safe, effective and aligned with your current fitness level.

You’ll receive 1-to-1 guidance from a dedicated trainer who will support and motivate you throughout your journey.

Beyond workouts, we also provide practical nutritional tips and continuously track your progress through regular check-ins to keep you accountable and progressing.

We understand that schedules can change.

Your trainer can help you plan around travel periods and, where appropriate, provide guidance on maintaining your routine independently while you’re away. We aim to keep your progress consistent even when life gets busy.

Having a trainer from a more established gym brand is more reliable, not just in terms of quality of training, but you can also be more assured of the PT package being followed through as compared to individual freelance trainers who might or might not honor your package after payment.

Our FITLUC Trainers are fully certified Personal Trainers, and many also hold a Degree in Sports Science. We’ve also begun providing PT certifications through our AFA x FITLUC CPT Workshops.

Yes, most of the time clients work with one dedicated trainer throughout their package.

This consistency allows your trainer to better understand your goals, track your progress closely, and adjust your programme accordingly. It also ensures your workouts stay aligned with your evolving needs, which helps you achieve long-term, sustainable results.

This depends on the trainer’s availability for your trial session. However, we will always take into account your past injuries, exercise history and fitness goals when allocating a trainer who is best suited to support your journey.

In most cases, clients continue with the same trainer as they have a deeper understanding of your progress and goals.

Nonetheless, if there are specific circumstances that suggest the need for a change, we’re happy to review and make arrangements where possible.

We welcome individuals of all ages, so there isn’t a minimum age to begin Personal Training.

For those below 16 years old, parental or guardian consent is required.

We also have extensive experience working with older clients and have developed a robust, adaptable training programme tailored to seniors, such as for mobility training and muscle strengthening.

We’ve even been featured on Channel 8’s Frontline and Radio Station Love 972, where we shared insights on how seniors can improve their health and fitness safely.

In fact, that’s exactly where Personal Training can be most beneficial. We provide a customised programme based on your physical capabilities and any medical restrictions.

Our trainers will tailor the exercises to support your recovery process while ensuring you train safely and effectively.

Our Home Personal Training sessions are designed to be conducted at your home, condo gym, or nearby fitness corner or park.

If you’d prefer to train at one of our FITLUC gyms instead, you can always sign up for another Gym Personal Training package to be used concurrently with your Home PT package.

This helps us ensure proper scheduling, programme consistency, and the best training experience for you!

We do not impose strict training hours for Home Personal Training. Your trainer will coordinate with you to schedule sessions at a convenient time.

Your trial must be scheduled within 30 days from the date of purchase.

For example, if payment is made on 1 August, the latest date to schedule your trial would be 31 August.

After your trial, if you enjoy FITLUC’s approach and your trainer’s style, you can decide whether you’d like to continue with a Personal Training package. No obligations!

You may cancel or reschedule your session at least 6 hours before the scheduled time.

We do encourage you to reschedule as early as possible so that the slot can be made available for other clients if needed.

Rescheduling or cancelling less than 6 hours before your session, without a valid reason, will incur a cancellation fee.

While not compulsory, nutrition plays a big role in achieving your fitness goals.

Your trainer can advise you on your diet, and you’re welcome to send photos of your meals so they can recommend healthier alternatives or suitable portion sizes to help you stay on track.
